Meet Stewart Little!

And now we come to the biggest change of all . . .

Yep, that tiny little dot is the long awaited, much anticipated Stewart Little!  Just a tiny little guy (or gal) for now, but as of this week, that little pea is officially the size of a blueberry (I can just hear Brandon quoting from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, "I have a blueberry for a daughter!").  We've known for over three weeks now, and I've been dying to shout the good news!  As of today, I am 7 weeks and Stewart Little should make an appearance sometime around May 9.  We are so so so excited!

And I'm so so so exhausted!  This new Mommy is heading to bed.  More to come soon!

A Season for Change

Ahh . . . Fall weather is here!!  Hallelujah!  I can finally go outside and not melt!  The yard work that has been put off during our 60+ days of 100+ temps can finally be done.  We can let Gizmo go outside for more than five minutes at a time (poor fuzz-coated puppy).  We can start taking walks again!  And, I had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season this week!  Hooray!

Yes, Fall is BY FAR my favorite season of all.  It's a season of change with its cooler weather and beautiful colors, and it holds nearly all of the most important changes and dates in the life of our little family.  Brandon's birthday, our first date, our moms birthdays, our wedding anniversary (3 years in October!), and my birthday (plus Thanksgiving, Bumpaw (Brandon's stepdad's bday) and it all leads up to Christmas!).  Yep, I love this season and all the changes it brings.

To celebrate, I've even changed our blog a little.  I'm experimenting with a couple of different layouts.  I really like this denim one, but I may find something a bit more fall-ish soon, too.
